Aquarius Horoscope for April 2024

Monthly News from Susan Miller

APRIL 2024

Dear Reader,

You are probably hearing on the news about the Great American eclipse, April 8, which will be a total eclipse of the Sun, a new moon in Aries, 19 degrees. NASA has a map that you might find helpful, so just type “Path of totality of the April 8 eclipse” and you will get to see it, as well as a chart of which cities will be best for viewing and the length of time of the eclipse. Or you can just go to https://tinyurl.com/yspyt978. In my report to you this month you will see how it will affect you.

If you would like to brush up on your knowledge of how eclipses work astrologically, I have written a very popular essay called “How to Deal with Eclipses.” You can google that title, and my article comes up first. Your April 2024 Horoscope for Aquarius

by Susan Miller

You have been tied to your home and possibly family, too, for months, but in April, you will be able to take a break. You probably heard on TV that a major solar eclipse is due on April 8, and it will be a total eclipse from Texas to Maine in the United States, so you may be taking a trip to a city in that path of totality. NASA has a site (https://tinyurl.com/yspyt978) where you can see the path of the eclipse and you will see a box under the map that lists the best cities for viewing and the time the eclipse will pass overhead.

For you, Aries and your third house of travel and communication will be lit up. This is why I feel you might travel in April. Along with the eclipsed new moon will be found the Sun, Venus, and Mercury all in adventuresome Aries. I feel you will go to a city not too far from your base, one that is quite scenic, warm and sunny—Venus is, after all, one of the planets following the eclipse, and she will add beauty to your destination.

Mercury will be retrograde in Aries from April 1 to April 25, so if you do take a road trip, make sure you have checked your accommodations to be sure they are set in stone, even if you arrive late. If you fly, call the airport the day before to find out if any delays are possible. Make sure you have packed all necessary paperwork, checked your accommodations the night before you go, and have Apple Air Tags in your luggage. (No one paid me to suggest Air Tags—I love them. It’s a good idea to have them to track your luggage.)

If you plan to drive to see the eclipse, make sure there is no cloud cover predicted at your destination. If a cloud cover is forecast, you may not see nearly a much. Alas, this can be frustrating. I am staying home in New York City, and by some miracle, it is predicted to be sunny and bright, possibly as warm at 65 degrees. We might luck out here! We will only see 90% of totality, but that is good enough for me.
