Switching to the topic of money, the new moon of October 10 will motivate you to streamline your finances. This new moon falls in your second house of earned income, so some money will come in, and some of that money will be sent out. You may be paying bills, but it might not be entirely easy to do. Saturn will oppose the new moon and Sun, making you realize that you can’t delay these payments—Saturn will make you practical and realistic. Jupiter will be close enough to send a sextile (an opportunity aspect) to the Sun and new moon to ease the squeeze—if you’re looking for an additional source of income (such as for a side job), it is likely you can find one.
Mercury, your ruler and planet of communication, will go retrograde from October 24 to November 13 (that is the same day Venus goes direct). This year Mercury will turn retrograde much earlier than usual, well before the holiday shopping season, which means you have a much better chance at finding gifts for relatives and friends that will hit the spot (and it’s much less likely that they’ll be returned).
