You do have one strong aspect in your favor during this period: Three days before the new moon, on October 7, Mars in Leo will send an opportunity beam (a sextile) to Uranus in Gemini. This aspect will blend into the new moon because Uranus moves so slowly. Mars and Uranus will bring a happy, surprise twist to this new moon because Uranus is at the top of your solar chart in your prestigious career advancement house. At this time in October, Mars will be in the confidential part of your chart, so again, keeping mum about your talks will be vital to your success.
This tells me that despite the problems with this new moon, based on your past performance at the company and your overall reputation, you do have a chance for something positive to happen in your career. Remember that aspects only supply half the picture. You supply the other half—your determination, will, and drive count for a lot. We all partner with our aspects—the outcome is always up to you.
Moving to the later part of the month, we have a full moon on October 26 in Taurus (3º) that will shift your focus to travel or an international relationship. Your ninth house will be lit, which is mainly an intellectual part of your chart, ruling legal matters, publishing and broadcasting, higher education, and all immigration and citizenship matters (passports, residency, and so forth). Your attention will be drawn to one of these areas.
By this point in the month Mercury will have turned retrograde (on October 24), and Venus will also be retrograde. Ironically, Venus rules Taurus, the sign of this full moon, so once again, like the new moon in Libra (also ruled by Venus), you are facing a drawback. The only work-around I see is that this full moon could remind you of an old promise or former project you had put aside. You might decide to dust off and resurrect this idea, and that could bring a positive result. Retrograde planets ask us to look back at valuable relationships and projects of the past that are unfinished or possibly forgotten—something may deserve another look now.
