Your October 2026 Horoscope for Aries

by Susan Miller

Some good things will be happening in October, and I say this fully aware that Venus will be retrograde from October 3 until November 13, and Mercury, the little copycat, will go retrograde too, from October 24 to the same date—November 13. I will talk about these retrogrades later, as I had done last month in my September forecast (in case you didn’t see it, I will give you a review here later).

First, I have a small warning about October 3, when Mars will confront Pluto in opposition—an aspect that is quite combative, so this would not be the day to kick the hornet’s nest to see what happens. You and your team may feel great pressure from management to press forward on a project, but you may feel the pressure is unfair, as everyone in your department seems to be working at a high level of productivity. So, with Mars opposed to Pluto, if you feel the need to voice a complaint to your boss or anyone else, best to wait a week or more to do so.

A very happy day is likely to happen on October 7 when Mars in Leo will be sextile (a sweet opportunity aspect) to Uranus, the surprise-a-minute planet, now in Gemini. This is a day that will bring an abundance of bright ideas, and you can expect happy results. This aspect has a long tail, and it will be mixed into the coming new moon, arriving in three days on October 10 in Libra.

The new moon of October 10 will fall at 17º Libra, your opposite sign, and fill your seventh house of partnerships. Whenever two people make a sacred promise to one another, whether in love or business, it becomes a seventh house matter. The seventh house is essentially a legal house, for in all sacred unions, papers are signed. Whether you plan to wed or hire a collaborator or partner in business, you both would almost always sign papers to seal the promise. (Yes, you do sign papers after your wedding—we just don’t think of a romantic wedding as a legal commitment, but it is.) Venus will be retrograde by then, so it would not be the best time to get married. You would have to work harder to keep your love affectionate and warm.
