Your October 2026 Horoscope for Aries
by Susan MillerVenus will retrograde in Scorpio and slide back to Libra, the sign Venus rules, so during the retrograde, put off having dermatological treatments, cosmetic dental work, or any other expensive work done on your appearance. If you want to purchase expensive beauty products that you have never used before, buy those products now, in early October, or wait until after November 13 to create a new holiday look. (If you have tried the brand previously, it’s fine to restock.)
The saving grace this month is that your ruler, Mars, will be in Leo in the most enjoyable part of your chart, your fifth house of romance, fun, and leisure. Mars first went into Leo last month on September 27 and will remain there until November 26. Of course, Venus will be retrograde during part of Mars’s visit, causing cross currents, so if you are confused, realize that you’ll have a vibrant social life once you get to next month, in the second part of November. If you’ve been dating someone a long while but are waffling back and forth, unsure if this person is for you, wait until after November 13 to make up your mind about the relationship.
There will be some brilliant days and exceptions to the rule. One of the best days of this month will be Wednesday, October 7, when Mars will sextile Uranus in Gemini. This will link your third sector of short travel (where Uranus is based) to your fifth house of creativity and fun (where Mars is based). If you are working on a creative project, October 7 would be the best day to set up a face-to-face meeting with your client to show your progress and get approvals—you may be thrilled with your client’s response.
The new moon in Libra (17º) on October 10 has a serious tone because Saturn will oppose the Sun and new moon. You may be making an important promise to another person in love or business. Saturn will make you practical and clear about the serious step you are about to take.
