That’s important because as your ruler, Mars and his actions are given a great deal of weight in your chart. This aspect joins action with the creation of a sturdy foundation that can stand the test of time.
If you do have an action you want to take at this new moon, October 10, start planning now. This aspect will reach an exact point on October 16, but it will begin to be felt as early as October 10. It is what astrologers call an aspect as “applying,” which means building in strength as it comes closer to its culmination—and this one is really good for you!
Let’s discuss Venus retrograde for a moment (October 3 to November 13). Venus rules love, so this would not be the time for singles to meet someone new—wait. Happily, the holiday season will start to move into full swing after November 13, and it will be more fun this year because both Venus and Mercury will be done retrograding—we all will be free and clear. That will help the entire shopping experience, too. This year your recipients will be more apt to be thrilled with your selections if you shop after Mercury goes direct.
In the meantime, with Venus retrograde, October is not the time to have expensive beauty treatments like Botox, fillers, laser treatments, or microneedling (both men and women go in for these treatments, so I am including both genders). It’s also not the time to treat yourself to a luxury massage—wait until later next month.
