If you were hoping to dramatically change your hair style or color, do it now, not while Venus is out of phase next month.
You need a good strong Venus for any of these activities. Venus also rules money dealing with the finer aspects of life. If you work with jewelry, flowers, perfume, fine wines, imported chocolates, and other high quality Venus-ruled goods, put off a new launch while Venus is retrograde—announce your launch through an advertising or publicity campaign after November 13, once Venus goes direct.
Mercury will also go retrograde next month—from October 24 to November 13 (turning direct the same day as Venus). That is another reason to delay your announcement.
During Mercury retrograde, avoid purchasing anything with electronic chips or any type of machine, for Mercury rules both—you are not likely to enjoy your product. You can shop in September, but in October, realize we begin to feel the draining effect of Mercury’s reversing direction a good 10 days before it ever goes retrograde.
If you cannot shop in September, then put off shopping until December. I would not want you to buy a car, computer, major kitchen appliance, vacuum cleaner, sewing machine, smartphone, or any other expensive product when Mercury is retrograde. I wouldn’t buy a new stove, mattress, rug, or furniture. You can act in September, but otherwise, avoid October and the first half of November. Do your best to leave a space of days after November 13 to let the two planets regulate their orbits. If you buy clothing, save your receipts—you are likely to have to return the item or exchange it for a different size.
