When Mercury is out of phase it is never a good time to make serious contractual agreements. Even after Mercury is out of retrograde—in this case, July 23—don’t rush or act quickly because Mercury will still be unstable and could bring problems that will show up months from now. After Mercury turns direct, it’s always wise to leave a wide space of days before you act.
This new moon on July 14 has a number of difficulties beyond Mercury’s retrograde. Saturn, your ruling planet, will be in a hard conflict with the Sun and new moon.
Saturn will be a bit of a troublemaker at the July 14 new moon. Saturn has been in your home and family sector since he moved into Aries in mid-February of this year, and he will remain there until mid-April of 2028. If you’re hoping your sweetheart will move in with you, your current space may be too small.
If this is true, you may embark on a search for a larger apartment or house. With Saturn throwing a wrench into your plans, it could take longer than you expect to find the right space, and getting your partner to agree with your choices could be another hurdle. If you have no residential challenges, it may be that your family is not enthusiastic about your sweetheart, and you might want to find ways to rally your family around you.
