Your October 2026 Horoscope for Aquarius
by Susan MillerMercury will be retrograde from October 24 until November 13 (the same day that Venus goes direct). For that entire time, Mercury will remain in Scorpio and your solar tenth house, ruling your professional reputation and standing in your company and industry. Mercury retrograde will slow your career progress and productivity. It would not be wise to start a new job when Mercury is retrograde. I know this is a tough economy, so if you have to take a job when Mercury is out of phase, do it—you can still continue to look for a new job. It is easier to find a new job when you already have a job.
Knowing Mercury will retrograde in the third week of October, it behooves you to get as much wrapped up as possible in the first week of October. Get contracts and legal documents signed, sealed, and delivered, and if you need to buy a machine or electronic device, go shopping early in October, staying as far from October 24 as possible, or wait until after November 13 to shop (leaving a space of a few days after November 13). All planets are on their worst behavior at the start and end dates of their retrogrades, which might sound counterintuitive, but it’s true.
The full moon in Taurus (3º) on October 26 will conclude a home- or family-related situation. You might move house or see a renovation come to a finish on this date. You might get furniture delivered or see the painters finish up so you can enjoy the new fresh look to your walls. If this full moon, instead, affects you regarding family, you may decide about how to best help one of your children or an elderly relative.
Although Pluto, which has been retrograde since May 6, will have moved direct and become stronger on October 15, the difficulty at the full moon has to do with Pluto in hard square to the Sun in Libra and the full moon in Taurus and your home sector. It would be easy for you to be ruffled about something that happens, so when it does happen, close your eyes, take a deep breath, count to ten, and keep your mind clear.
