Mercury, the planet of communication and transportation, will be retrograde from October 24 to November 13 in Scorpio the entire time. (Yes, Mercury will go direct on November 13, the same day as Venus goes direct).
The new moon on October 10 in Libra at 17º would have given you another opportunity to travel, but there will be problems with this new moon. The new moon will light your ninth house, ruling distant travel (among other areas of life). Saturn will still have a strong presence, so if you do go somewhere, you will likely be thinking about all the work you need to complete when you get back.
Aside from travel there may be other things to attend to. The ninth house rules import-export, as well as international relationships, immigration, visa, residency, passport, and relocation. Alternatively, you may be giving an important speech or need to do research on a notable report or manuscript.
On the plus side of this new moon, good-fortune Jupiter will be in perfect angle to the Sun and new moon, giving you broad focus, and even possibly a patina of philosophical thinking that will add depth to your work. Despite the challenges of this full moon October 10, your partner in love (your spouse or established, long-term sweetheart) or a business associate/collaborator may have a good idea to help you untangle any impediments to moving ahead on what you hope to accomplish at this new moon.
