Your October 2026 Horoscope for Sagittarius
by Susan MillerAs you enter October, you will be filled with a need for adventure. Mars, the energy planet, is now circulating in your ninth house of long-distance travel, an activity you love more than almost anything else in life. It has taken Mars two years to reach this house, and it will take Mars another two years to return here after he leaves on November 25. That doesn’t mean you can’t go anywhere for two years after November 25, only that Mars is currently amplifying your desire to pack up and go.
You are an intellectual sign, and learning about new places and other cultures is fascinating to you. The need for discovery is so strong that you would sacrifice other major parts of life so that you can continue to travel. However, I will present reasons later in your report why October would not be the best time to hit the road. Jupiter will give you opportunities to travel in the coming 10 months, so don’t worry. As you will see below, you have a glorious conjunction next month on November 16 that could trigger a sensational opportunity for travel.
The ninth house rules many areas of life in addition to travel, so alternatively you may be concentrating on an international relationship (without the need to leave town) or an immigration matter that involves citizenship (a visa or passport, for example). If you live in the US, you might be in the process of approval for TSA PreCheck® or Global Entry.
The ninth house also rules higher education, so you may be actively filling out forms and looking into various institutions so that you can earn an advanced degree. The publishing and broadcasting industries (and assignments associated with those fields) are covered here, as well as legal matters.
