Your August 2026 Horoscope for Libra
by Susan MillerAs you enter August, your chart is hitting all the right spots, dear Libra. The full moon that occurred at the end of July, days before the start of August, was spectacular for you.
That July 29 full moon—still influential until August 4—was in Aquarius (7º) and lit your fifth house of romance, leisure, fun, pregnancy, and birth and the joy of caring for and being with children. The fifth house also rules your creativity. One of these topics came to a crest for you, or may still do so in early August. Uranus, the planet of the unexpected, was radiating electric beams to the full moon, adding an element of thrilling surprise. And being in such fine angle to the full moon, Uranus, which rules Aquarius, increased the chances of you having a breathless experience—doubly so if your birthday falls at the end of September.
The part that made this full moon so extraordinary was that it coincided with an exact alignment of the Sun with good-fortune Jupiter. This is an annual event that always takes place in a different sign and different part of the chart. It has been 12 years since the Sun and Jupiter met in Leo. This alignment always marks the Luckiest Day of the Year.
For you, dear Libra, Jupiter and the Sun met in your eleventh house of friendship and social fun. Ancient Hellenistic astrologers called this the house of joy and happiness, the place where a wish or desire dear to your heart can often come true.
