Your November 2026 Horoscope for Virgo

That’s because Mercury, your ruler, has been retrograde, which means that your efforts will be better spent reevaluating and tweaking current content and projects rather than making immediate forward progress. Mercury also rules your tenth house of career advancement, so if you hoped to find a new job or receive a promotion recently, your timing is off. Mercury went retrograde last month on October 24, and he will turn direct on November 13.
Venus has also been in retrograde, and it’s a rare phenomenon for both planets to be retrograde simultaneously. While Mercury turns retrograde three times a year for three and a half weeks, Venus retrogrades every 18 months for 40-43 days. Both planets are out of phase right now. Venus holds sway over your salary and other earned income (solar second house), so business might have lagged lately, and a promise of a raise may be slow to materialize (if at all). Mercury rules information, computers and other electronics, negotiations, and commerce, so it may have taken much longer to forge a deal—and though it sounds counterintuitive, these delays probably benifited you.
Fortunately, both Mercury and Venus will turn direct on the same day, November 13. Life will improve! Allow these two planets time to reorient themselves as they make a U-turn to direct motion. This will not happen in the blink of an eye, but you’ll notice by month’s end that the pace has picked up.
The new moon in Scorpio (17º) on November 9 will arrive in your third house of contractual agreements. If you’re negotiating a deal, it’s still too early to sign papers—you need to wait until November 13 to make binding agreements (and leave a space of days after that date if you can).
