Your Horoscope for Virgo
by Susan MillerNow that I have given you the big picture of your life—the panoramic view—let’s turn our attention to May and what’s coming up for you in detail.
The full moon of May 1 will fall in Scorpio, 11 degrees, and it will be perfect for taking a short trip over the weekend that follows (May 2 and May 3). I wrote about this lovely full moon in your April forecast so that you could prepare. I love that Jupiter in Cancer will be in ideal angle to the full moon on May 1, strengthening the possibility for a joyous social experience with a friend (you could also make a new friend). Scorpio and Cancer are both signs that blend beautifully with your Virgo Sun.
At the same time, Pluto will apply pressure from your work sector, so if you can’t take the weekend off, it may be because you are concerned about a project that is almost ready to wrap up, and you will need to attend to the final details. Hopefully, you were able to finish the job by April 30 and can take that refreshing, rejuvenating trip at the full moon. (I am not sure if that was possible for you, but I did urge you last month to give it a good try.)
You will notice the effects of this full moon quite directly if your birthday falls on September 3, plus or minus four days. The same is true if either your natal moon is in Virgo or you have Virgo rising at 11 degrees, plus or minus five degrees. If you have a natal planet in Virgo, Capricorn, Taurus, Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces, and at the same degree parameters, you will also feel the effects of this full moon because that planet will be accented. Watch to see what happens—again, you will likely enjoy the results.
