You only get a sparkling Emerald Year from Jupiter, the good fortune planet, approximately every 12 years. That’s the time it takes Jupiter to revolve around the Sun and visit all 12 signs, staying in each sign for approximately one year. The last time you had Jupiter in Virgo was August 2015 to September 2016.
As you see, these Emerald Years (as I call them) are exceedingly rare. Ancient astrologers felt it was important to think in advance about what you’d like to achieve within this special year.
