This month will not have a quick pace, however, because your ruler, Venus, will go retrograde in Scorpio (and will soon slide backwards into Libra). Venus will be taking a rest in retrograde from October 3 to November 13.
Venus rules love, fun, and beauty, so this is a month to delay expensive treatments, such as trips to your dermatologist or plastic surgeon to improve your looks. You can certainly go to your hairdresser for trims and continued good grooming but not for dramatic changes to your style or color.
If you are single and hope to meet someone new, it would be better to wait until after Venus goes direct on November 13. Look at the bright side—all the parties are coming at year’s end, when you will be finished with your most important tasks, and Venus will no longer be retrograde.
Meeting someone now with Venus out of phase does not bode well for the birth of a long-term, genuine romantic relationship. Venus does not retrograde that frequently—only every 18 months for approximately 41 days—but you are ruled by Venus, so you may find that progress is slow this month. That may be fine with you, for sooner or later you will see that delays will benefit you.
