Tenants who stay in their apartment while new floors are put in (moving furniture around during the process) are subjecting themselves to carcinogenetic material. I am glad my contractor was honest with me.
After this was done, the job had to be on hold for six months while my contractor had to wait for the New York City Department of Buildings (DOB) to grant us the demolition license to begin. I was a newbie about construction—eclipses certainly fill you in fast about the realities you need to know.
Last October, after 14 months in the small apartment downstairs, I was finally able to move back into my place with new floors, upgraded bathroom, better electricity and improved WIFI, and a new open kitchen (my dream—I love to cook). It was more beautiful than I had ever imagined it could be. I would have never done any of this had I not had the flood. The eclipse triggered something bad, but in the end, it worked out in my favor.
My point in telling you all this is that sometimes something that appears really bad can be a force for so much good. Jupiter had just moved into my fourth house (like you have), and it was at the very start of the trend, so I enlarged the project (when would I ever move out again to do renovation—never!). Sometimes things come down to “it’s now or never.” That was the case for me, and it could be for you, too. You won’t have Jupiter in this area of your chart for another 12 years—do you want to wait that long?
