Your work is ruled by the Sun, and the Sun was affected by the eclipse, so that seemed to bring your career into your discussions as well. No matter what news surfaced, it was completely unexpected, and there was no way you could have prepared for it. Eclipses have a way of bringing truth to the surface, and sometimes that truth is glaring, but it’s important to know about, nevertheless.
The first days of September will be unusually quiet. You will see on my Year Ahead 2026 Astrological Calendar that there aren’t any aspects from September 2 to September 9. That is not because I left them out—I print every aspect of the year in my calendar and describe what each one means. If a date is empty, it is because there are absolutely no aspects.
Sometimes after an eclipse, all the planets watch what is happening, step back, and stop chattering. The groups of little and big planets alike realize that eclipses often bring up serious topics, and they do not want to distract you. They know you need to take time to think. They are also aware that eclipses are the most dramatic tool that the universe uses to create rapid, permanent change. There will never be an option to go back to the way things were before an eclipse—the only option is to move forward.
The first important aspect you will come to this month will be the new moon in Virgo (18º) on September 10 in your social friendship sector. This new moon will provide the boost you’ll need to relax and reconnect with friends. Nature is creating a new season, and this new moon will usher in a fresh, happier mood. Mars in Cancer will send a friendly signal to the new moon in Virgo, so you may travel to a distant city for pleasure or business to see a friend, relative, or client. Alternatively, a person who is important to you may travel to your city to see you.
