Your July 2026 Horoscope for Scorpio

Mercury started to retrograde in Cancer (the same day as the earlier full moon June 29) and will continue to retrograde in that sign until July 23.

Some of my readers feel they can never travel during Mercury retrograde, but that is not true. I know, this new moon has so much going against it that it just doesn’t seem possible that you could surmount the pressures tugging at you to stay home.

But you CAN travel with Mercury retrograde—if you take a few practical steps before you go.

First, always buy your ticket BEFORE Mercury starts retrograding to avoid the necessity of having to change your ticket afterwards (which could be expensive). Then, keep Apple Air Tags in every piece of luggage, including your computer bag. Book an early flight so that you have less chance of having the flight delayed. If you travel for business, take the extra step to confirm all appointments, and double-check the address of the meeting. If you’re arriving late in the day, inform the hotel in advance to hold your room. I travel all the time with Mercury retrograde, so you can too, quite successfully.
