The house we are discussing here, the eighth house, rules a special kind of money: commissions, royalties, applications for a bank loan or mortgage, inheritances, taxes and tax refunds, valuable gifts (such as from family), child support, financial court settlements, including the division of marital property in a divorce, insurance payouts, or any other fees or money owed to you outside of salary, and which usually show up as a lump sum. Money that was promised to you may be temporarily held up, possibly until after November 13.
Insurance companies are notorious about denying everything. I wish I had a better new moon to report on for you. Of course, try—there is no harm in sending in a claim or applying for a loan or mortgage, but be sure it is worded accurately. If working with an insurance company, you might have to hire an expert like an estimator or adjuster, or maybe even an attorney to help you.
I am encouraging you to try because you have one golden aspect: Jupiter will sextile the Sun and new moon, which could turn this all in your favor. Jupiter is in your work-a-day house, so perhaps the banker will be impressed with your professional accomplishments, your work ethic, your credit rating, and other elements to help you get approved.
