by Susan MillerOn another note, Mercury, too, will go retrograde but later in the month on October 24 and turn direct on November 13. (This is the same day that Venus goes direct.) Mercury will retrograde in Scorpio the entire time, in your travel-oriented solar ninth house. You can travel, but you should have Apple AirTags® in each piece of luggage (and your computer bag!). I travel all the time under Mercury retrograde, and I have not had problems, but planes can get delayed, so see if you can depart in the morning before delays begin to happen. Make sure your hotel accommodations are set and will stay firm if you arrive late. (You might want to call the hotel and underscore your need to keep your reservation.)
Try not to sign any paperwork during Mercury retrograde—you may regret the deal later. Also, do not buy a car, smartphone, laptop, TV, kitchen appliance, or any item with moving parts or electronic chips inside. If you purchase something vital or expensive during Mercury retrograde, you won’t enjoy your purchase as much as you anticipate.
There will be delays, but retrogrades often open our schedules so that we can get other things done. They also encourage us to reconnect with people from our past, to catch up and also to see if there is a way to work together again.

As you enter the month, you have a lot to do, and your concentration will be high. Ever since Mars entered Leo and your sixth house of work on September 27, you’ve had to handle assignments efficiently because you had to keep up with the steady flow of work. Mars will remain in this house until November 25, when the pressure to perform will ease.
