On Sunday, May 10 (Mother’s Day in the United States), you will have Jupiter in your career house in an ideal angle (a sextile) to the Sun in your eighth house of other people’s money. This is sure to be a great day for you, and you will feel this generous energy as early as Friday, May 8, and as late as Monday, May 11. If you are a mother and you are in the US, you may receive a beautiful gift. Even if you don’t celebrate Mother’s Day, or you live outside the US where there is no holiday, you still will have a wonderful day when you could be pampered and cared for. In business, your client will be in a generous mood on the Friday before and the Monday after.
On Tuesday, May 12, Jupiter will reach out to Mercury, making this a perfect day to sign a contract or make a presentation. Use this day to travel for any reason. If you go on a business trip, you are likely to come home with the purchase order.
The new moon on May 16 in Taurus, 26 degrees, will again emphasize financial talks in an entirely different way. This is your house of other people’s money, and this new moon will be gloriously aspected—there is not a cloud in your perfect blue sky above. Again, Jupiter will reach out to both the Sun and this new moon and also to Mercury from his perch in your prestigious tenth house of honors, awards, and achievements. Clearly, your fine reputation for excellence precedes you.
If you pitch a new client, you are likely to win the business. If you have a regular client, you can expand the current relationship with your ideas. If you need to apply for a mortgage, bank loan, grant, or college financial aid or put in an insurance claim or pitch a venture capitalist to invest in your start-up, your planets will be gleaming so brightly, and you will be so compelling, that I feel you will be given the amount you need to proceed. This new moon will be influential for five months, bringing you luck and generosity with financial matters—it will be the very strongest, though, in the week to 10 days following May 16.
