Your July 2026 Horoscope for Libra
by Susan MillerI created an entire app devoted to void moons. Before my app, it was very difficult to determine when the moon would be void. If you could even find information about a void moon, it was based on Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), so you would then have to calculate for your own time zone. Even looking it up on the Internet now requires a number of clicks to determine your location, time zone, and date.
If you want to learn more about the moon void of course, my app “Moonlight Phases” will explain all you need to know in an easy, friendly way. It includes a GPS locator, so it can give you accurate information whether you are at home or traveling. The app shows you each day of the year on a separate screen (through 2050!) and is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play. It is a one-time purchase of $7.99. I built GPS into both my apps (my other app is “Astrology Zone Horoscopes”) so that you will always get accurate, timely information. I use my “Moonlight Phases” app every day.
A moon can be void for a few minutes, several hours, or sometimes for an entire day. The July 14 new moon appears during her void period but will eventually go out of void, in this case almost 13 hours later. Unfortunately, the fact that she goes out of void later won’t help. For forecasting, I need to see when the moon first appears—her status at “birth” is when that new moon’s die is cast. A new moon has an umbrella effect over all the coming days, especially the two weeks that follow it.
Alas, this new moon won’t help your career much, and besides, it comes during the dreaded Mercury retrograde period (June 29 to July 23). Worse, Mercury is retrograde in Cancer, which places it in your solar tenth house of professional career advancement.
