I say this even though I am fully aware that Mercury will be retrograde from April 1 to April 25. Sometimes rare and brilliant aspects happening in the same month can be so exciting that they minimize any effect of a rogue Mercury. This is one of those months, so stay with me, and I will show you why you should be excited about April.
As this month opens, you are preparing to welcome a new moon solar eclipse in Aries at 19 degrees. This new moon will appear with her entourage—the Sun, Venus, and Mercury—all together in Aries. This is a powerful eclipse for many reasons, but one is that it will be a total eclipse of the Sun, and because the Sun is your ruler, a solar eclipse will always affect you more than a lunar eclipse, like the one you had last month on March 25 in Libra, 5 degrees. This month’s eclipse is a bigger deal, so let’s look closer.
The fact that many celestial bodies are in fire signs, like yours, is a wonderful situation. Also, if you look at your chart, all the planets are circulating above the horizon indicating your life will be far more public and career-oriented this month than private and home-oriented. (This may change a little bit as you get closer to month’s end, at the time of the full moon on April 23, but during the first half of April, and again in early May, this will be evident.)
