Your September 2026 Horoscope for Leo
by Susan MillerLast month we had two eclipses. One was fantastic—the new moon solar eclipse in Leo (20º) on August 12 favored you over all others. Opportunities are opening up for you everywhere you look, but the key is, you must make an effort to show the universe this is something you want. If your birthday falls near August 12, you felt that eclipse quite personally and directly—it looks as though you will like the big changes coming your way.
The second eclipse on August 27-28 was the opposite in nature—it was jarring, sudden, and dramatic. It fell in Pisces (5º), so it pointed to money. A range of financial possibilities could have come up—you may have discovered that you were dealing with identity theft or that money owed to you or promised as a loan or investment in your company won’t come. I feel bad even suggesting any of these possibilities, but if you felt that eclipse, the outcome was probably stressful.
The problem was that Uranus in Gemini was square (a 90º harsh aspect) to both the Sun in Virgo and the full moon in Pisces. You are ruled by the Sun, so that eclipse seemed to be speaking to you. The degrees of the strong square of Uranus to the Sun and full moon were super-tight—that suggests it was more likely you’d notice something going on regarding money. News was probably sudden, coming out of left field, and not something you would ever have expected to hear.
The first 10 days of September will be especially quiet to give you time to sort everything out. It is often the case that all the other little planets, watching what was happening with that lunar eclipse, will each step back and keep silent, careful not to distract you with their chatter. I see this a lot after an eclipse—they know an eclipse is the most dramatic tool the universe uses to create rapid change. A glare of truth surfaces that you cannot ignore. It is a fact concerning eclipses that you can never reset the news to go back to the way life used to be before an eclipse appeared. Your only option is to move forward.
