Leo Horoscope for August 2026

Your August 2026 Horoscope for Leo

by Susan Miller

August 11, the day before the eclipse, is the perfect day to see friends due to a flirtatious encounter between Venus in Libra and Uranus in Gemini. This is a fun and frothy day, great for singles to meet someone new, and for those attached to fan the fires of love.

Just a few days later, on August 15, you will have a fantastic aspect when Mercury conjuncts Jupiter, which happens once a year. This would be another perfect day to negotiate or sign a contract or to pitch an idea. You might also receive news of a generous payment coming your way—all career news will likely be good news on August 15.

Speaking of your career, August 17 is another outstanding day for a professional meeting when Venus in Libra sextiles Jupiter in Leo. A sextile is an opportunity aspect for success, but you need to take action to activate it—so use it! Venus rules your tenth house of professional advancement, so that’s why you can do no wrong mid-month when it comes to your career. Your professional life is certainly zooming skyward, dear Leo.

Mars is in Cancer in August, keeping you in a modest, behind-the-scenes role. That will change when Mars moves into Leo on September 27, to stay until November 25. That will mark another important, productive time for you when you will be in the spotlight and enjoy quite a bit of applause. Perhaps a project that starts in August or September will be the reason you are hailed as rock star during the coming Mars in Leo phase (September 27 to November 25). Whatever the reason, you will likely embark on a new chapter starting on September 27. Of course, the solar eclipse of August 12 will start you off in a new direction, too. In other words, you have a string of good luck and new directions in front of you.
