However, if a boss you worked with several years ago calls and invites you to join her on a new project, it is okay to accept during the retrograde. You started that relationship a long time ago, so it is fine to continue it. You have already proved the value of that connection. It is brand-new alliances and ventures that are not okay to initiate during Mercury retrograde.
Sign no legal documents. Keep track of your favorite possessions that could be easily lost, like your laptop, tablet, smartphone, eyeglasses, and sunglasses. If you are a woman reader and have often misplaced one earring sometime during the day, such as losing one of the beautiful diamond studs that your parents gave you for Christmas last year, leave them in your drawer during Mercury retrograde.
During Mercury retrograde we tend to rush and become forgetful, so we all have to work against that proclivity and be more deliberate and mindful in all our actions.
There is a way to use retrograde planets to your benefit, however. Contact an old friend. If a certain lover got away, this may be the time (even months later) to find out if you can stage a reconciliation.
