Your July 2026 Horoscope for Cancer
by Susan MillerThis full moon on June 29 emphasized something big regarding your partner in love or business. You may be in the midst of making a serious decision, or perhaps you’ve already made your choice. Saturn in Aries was in a hard angle to the full moon in Capricorn and the Sun in Cancer, so this decision or commitment is likely to be an important one with long-range implications. I wrote a lot about this full moon last month in your June report. Romantically, it’s time to think about whether you want to eventually get married. If you have doubts about the person you’re with, you might end the relationship.
I feel your deliberation and impending commitment are more likely to refer to a work collaborator or expert you hire than to a romantic partner. Of course, I cannot see your unique chart, so I could be wrong about that. I say this is probably about work rather than love because Saturn takes such a starring position during this full moon, and Saturn is based in your prestigious tenth house of career advancement.
The new moon will appear in Cancer (22°) on July 14, but this moon will not be in conversation with any planets. This means the moon will be void for nearly 13 hours before it comes out of a languishing void position. This makes this new moon weaker than usual. At any new moon, the die is cast so that when it appears, the aspects at play at that moment are what astrologers use to forecast the applicable influences during that new moon. It’s too bad that the moon is not more energetic for you. (Then again, Mercury is retrograde, so this isn’t a good time to start anything anyway.)
It is clear that you are anxious to start something new in your Ife, but in July you may feel like powerful winds keeps pushing you back into a wait-and-see position. That’s okay—you will have Mars in Cancer by August 11 to allow you to move forward very rapidly next month. So if this new moon does not deliver what you had hoped, you will have another chance next month.
