You will have other challenges at this new moon. At the moment the new moon appears on July 14, it will not be conversing with any planets. Professional astrologers know that as the moon being “void of course.” You may have never heard this term, but the basic meaning is that the moon will not be helpful. Ideally, when starting anything new, or expecting to see progress in any realm, you always need an alert, vibrant moon. Otherwise, your projects and ventures will remain the same as they were before the new moon appeared. Most people want to see change and progress for their efforts.

Sometimes you don’t want to see progress. If, for instance, you have an appointment with a government official to review your tax return, and this is done during a void moon, you could be in luck. You will likely be told that the government accepts your report, you owe nothing (as said, conditions continue as they were before the report).

And because the moon is the fastest moving body in our solar system, you might wonder if whether once the moon comes out of void (in this case in a matter of hours), won’t that change the quality of the new moon? No, I am sorry to say, it will not.
