Your Horoscope for Taurus

by Susan Miller

I wrote about this May 1 full moon last month in your April forecast simply because it will come up right as May begins. Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, will be friendly to the full moon, adding a note of lightness and warmth—possibly adding a chance to experience a spiritual weekend, too. In that respect, you may want to take a short trip to chill out from the pressures of work over the May 1 to May 3 weekend.

(Note: A full moon has a field of influence of five days after it appears, when the full moon will deliver its news.) If you have to work over the weekend, you may feel pulled in two directions: needing to take a break to rest and rejuvenate or, on the other hand, being on the job to keep working. Only you can decide, as there is no predestination in astrology. I can only show you the conditions that surround your situation—you are always in charge.

Your work is apparently demanding, as shown by Pluto’s position in your professional tenth house, so the pressure to perform is palpable. On May 1, Pluto will square the Sun and full moon, so I feel if you cannot take a weekend trip, it may be because the team (you included) will have to work over the weekend, as there is definite pressure from the top. If you say you are free and clear over that weekend, then leave Friday night and come back Sunday—you need the change of scene.

Starting May 18, you will be perceived as more attractive and more confident with Mars in your sign. You will certainly have what I call a “glitter factor.”
