Your Horoscope for Sagittarius
by Susan MillerI do have a warning, though. Be careful not to marry when Mercury is retrograde from June 29 to July 23, 2026. Marriage is a contract, and although we don’t always think of getting married as a legal agreement, it is. After the ceremony, you will need to sign papers, and this is true no matter where you are wed. Whether you get married in a church or synagogue, City Hall, a restaurant, club, your home, or a friend’s home, you will need to sign legal documents. You should never wed with Mercury retrograde. When you marry, you want to give your start together the very best chance you can.
In May and most of June you will have excellent aspects to tie the knot. Sunday, June 14, will bring a new moon to your seventh house of marriage. You will feel this new moon the day prior, on Saturday, June 13. That date is still far enough away from the date Mercury goes retrograde (June 29). I love the weekend of June 13-14 for you to wed. This is true even though you would feel the onset of a weak Mercury at least 10 days before it actually turns retrograde.
If you have already sent the invitations, you can still have a secret, private ceremony over the weekend of the June 14 new moon and have a party for friends and relatives in July. In astrology, the date that gives birth to the relationship is important. The day you actually wed will affect your relationship for its entire term.
Coming back to May now, the new moon on May 16 in Taurus, 26 degrees, will bring you a new assignment or, if self-employed, a new client and more business. This project will come as a surprise, out of the blue, and could be something you will enjoy doing. Again, your ruler, Jupiter, will be involved and will send his gifts of happiness and good-fortune to this new moon. Neptune will deliver a message to Uranus, the planet of ideas, based in your seventh house. If you are collaborating with a partner or expert on this assignment, you will benefit from all that your partner brings to the table, including inspirational ideas.
