Your Horoscope for Pisces

by Susan Miller

Finally, the ninth house also rules spirituality/religion/meditation, so you may be going on a retreat in a peaceful area where you could reflect on the bigger questions of life without the usual everyday distractions when you are home.

At the same time as the full moon, Pluto in Aquarius (from your solar twelfth house, an area of the chart that rules things that happen in confidence behind closed doors) will be in a 90-degree harsh square to the moon in Scorpio and the Sun in Taurus. You may feel pressure at work but be unsure of what to do about it other than to work harder. If someone in authority has misjudged or miscommunicated something, you will need to gently talk things over to untangle the problem.

Now let’s turn to the new moon in Taurus, 26 degrees, of May 16, which will be delicious. It is rare to find a new moon this sunny and bright without any planets involved to steal away some of its goodness. It is ideal no matter how you look at it.

It will fall in your third house of travel and contractual matters, and this house is also involved in writing, speaking, editing, or any of the communication arts. This new moon will be conjunct Mercury, so it will bring news. It will also be close to Uranus in early Gemini (1 degree) and mathematically influential in an out-of-sign conjunction, so you can expect a surprise.

Something quite spontaneous could happen at this time. For instance, you may get a last-minute invitation for a trip close to home (within 200 miles), or conversely, you might impulsively give a “come-as-you-are” party for your neighbors to start within an hour at your home. (When was the last time you got an invitation like that? It’s fun!)
