However, this intense scrutiny you are feeling seems to stem from the pressure this supervisor is under from his or her own higher-ups behind the scenes. You may want to hire an assistant to lighten your workload, but that doesn’t seem to be an option, so soldier on. Like most difficult situations, this, too, will pass.
Venus, your ruler and planet of beauty and romance, will retrograde from October 3 to November 13. Venus will start her retrograde in Scorpio, and in her journey backward will reach Libra on October 25, continuing in Libra past November 13 (when she turns direct) all the way through to December 4. (It is rare to see Venus retrograde—it happens every 18 months for approximately 40 to 43 days. This time she’s due to retrograde for 42 days.)
Mercury, the planet of communication, contracts, negotiation, and travel, will also turn retrograde from October 24 until November 13, the same day that Venus will go direct. Hence, by the middle of November, everything will feel better, and we will be in good shape moving into the year-end holidays. (This is unusual—in recent years Mercury has been retrograde in November and December, causing problems with holiday shopping and shipments.)
Retrograde planets remind us to look back to tie up loose ends or to see if a project or a relationship that we put aside is worthy of another look. This is such a good time to get in touch with colleagues and friends we know but have not been in touch with lately.
