Your June 2026 Horoscope for Cancer
by Susan MillerIn an unusual situation, the June 14 new moon will not be in communication with other planets. This means that the moon will be what astrologers call void of course. The moon will be sleeping. When the moon is void, things continue along as they were, with no progress and no change. This is problematic because new moons are known to have a long influence—for five months, but they are strongest for the 10 days after they appear, so parts of your life are due for a temporary slowdown.
Sometimes you don’t want to see any change or development, and here I will give you an example. Let’s say you are called in for a tax audit, and the tax man takes a look at your records and compares them to the tax report you filed. If the moon is void when you have your appointment, the government auditor is likely to say, “Nothing to see here—you can go. The government is satisfied with your report.” Most of the time, however, we DO want to see progress—but not at an audit! This new moon of June 14 will be a languishing one, and that may be okay with you. It will give you time to rest, which I feel you will need.
If you want to learn more about this void-of-course moon and when it will come up in your location, get my app “Susan’s Miller’s Moonlight Phases” at the Apple App Store or Google Play for $7.99 (one time cost, not a subscription). It will give you information on every day of every year from now through 2050. I put GPS into the app so it will always be accurate in the location where you live or travel to. Usually, a void moon is for part of a day, for a few minutes or hours, but sometimes it stays void all day. My app will also tell you where the moon is (the sign it is in) and what phase it is in (full moon, quarter moon, new moon, and so forth). My app will tell you when the moon will move into the next sign, precisely, to the minute, and when, exactly, the moon will not be void. This way you can set your most important meetings for the most favorable day and time. I use my app every day.
