Finances will be on your mind as you enter May, for a full moon in Scorpio, 11 degrees, will set off your need to attend to them. Jupiter will be in proximity, a little on the mathematical fringe of significance, but still close enough to give that full moon a cheerful boost. News about incoming money should be positive. Scorpio is the sign of transformation and mystery and can be helped quite a bit by generous Jupiter. Jupiter’s sole mission is to make you happy, and he never asks for anything in return.

Pluto will be a bit cranky, though, for Pluto will challenge the Sun and full moon, possibly putting a strain on your finances and making you wonder if you can afford to attend a social event that you dearly want to go to. At the same time, though, Pluto will be very friendly to Venus, Uranus, Neptune, and Saturn, which can help. I wrote about this full moon in your April report, and I felt then, as I do now, that you can move ahead with your plans because you have enough working for you at this full moon.

You may feel that your boss or other person in authority is not treating you fairly. But that won’t stop good from happening in other areas of your life. That often happens in life—when you have the mixed aspects to the full moon, life is really happy in one part and frustrating in another. You deal with things as they come, and you can make something good from this full moon, especially since Jupiter is in a warm and supportive angle to this full moon.

I also like that Mars is still in Aries (a once-in-two-year privilege), giving you outstanding control over the direction of events. You are starting a new energetic cycle due to the perfect position of Mars in Aries. This is why I feel this full moon is one you’ll be able to use to make progress, especially in the financial realm. I say this even though (as mentioned above) Pluto will clash simultaneously with the full moon in Scorpio and the Sun in Taurus on May 1. Pluto can be pushy and difficult, but he can also give you the impetus to find a way to make more money (Pluto is very tied to large financial sums).
