When you discovered the costs involved, you may have reassessed your plans, thought about how much you were willing to spend, and considered where your money would be better spent. Uranus was in your fifth house of fun and romance, so that’s where the budget was likely trimmed, as he taunted both the Sun in Virgo and the full moon eclipse in Pisces .
Alternatively, you may have been hit with a large expense and felt your social event was coming at the wrong time. (In truth, it seems there is never a good time for an unexpected expense.) As you enter September, you seem to have become more determined to lay out your financial picture and sharpen your focus.
If you have not paid taxes earlier in the year, you may commit to that task at the new moon in Virgo on September 10 —an excellent time to do so. Perhaps you are weeks ahead of the extended deadline, giving you time to discuss new tax laws with your accountant and legal deductions you can take advantage of. If you need to spend for a high- ticket item, you may want to do some comparison shopping to get the best price.
