Your August 2026 Horoscope for Gemini
by Susan MillerTwo eclipses are on the way—the first one will be a new moon solar eclipse in Leo (20º) on August 12, and the second will be a full moon lunar eclipse in Pisces (5º) on August 27-28. As you might know by now, eclipses are some of the most dramatic of all celestial events because they bring sudden insight and information along with rapid change. The first eclipse will be very beneficial for you, and I will describe everything in a minute, but first let’s look at August from the start of the month.
As you ease into August, you may have something to be very happy about. Only one month ago good-fortune Jupiter moved into Leo, a fire sign that blends beautifully with your air-sign Gemini Sun. Jupiter is now in your third house of communication, which rules the written and spoken word.
You are known to be talented in all the communication arts—this is one of the skills you were born with as a Gemini. For example, you may be a writer, editor, or public speaker, or work in sales, public relations, translation, or research and fact-checking. Also included in the third house is work in social media, television (as a producer or host), podcasting, advertising, agenting, and creating electronic gadgets, websites, apps, and software development.
Gemini rules domestic travel, the post office and the mail, overnight and express shipping, messengers, and teaching (grade school through high school), along with many forms of transportation—automotive, rail, bus, and short-distance aviation. (Sagittarius rules overseas travel and transport, and Pisces rules cruise ships.)
