A Note from Susan Miller — June 2019

Dear Reader,

Do you believe in miracles? I do, and I found out that I am not the only one. Albert Einstein once said, “There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.” Albert Einstein said he chose the latter. My own life has been one of high contrasts, with very deep lows (especially in regard to my life threatening birth defect and the many surgeries it took to get me well as a teenager), but I also have had the highest highs to celebrate. The contrast has made me grateful for every day I live—that was never a guarantee. I had to learn to walk again, and it took years.

I am living a miracle tonight. I am sitting in Newark Airport, about to board a flight to Athens and will change planes to get to Crete. Never did I think I would ever see Crete because my work is so all-encompassing that it is hard to travel. I have never been to Greece and always wanted to go. Astrology was started by the Babylonians but refined by the Greeks and Romans who developed much of what we know of astrology and use today. The Egyptians also put astrology on the map and added much wisdom to the interpretations as well.

When the kind people of Daios Cove Resort and Villa, a five-star luxury hotel on the island of Crete, invited me to come to stay for a week, from June 2 to June 9, it sounded too exciting to be true, and yet here I am about to board a plane to go there. I will give a speech to hotel guests on June 2 and also read the charts of the guests who book time with me by calling the concierge. People who are staying nearby on Crete and who would like to stop by the hotel can also book an hour’s reading of their horoscope with me. I love to read charts, for when I do, I get to hear the stories of each person who comes to me, and I see first-hand how the aspects affect each person. I like to find the keys to unlock problems, so in many ways I feel I was born to do astrology.

Turning to your June forecasts, I am happy to report that June will be a joyous, productive month. Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, will be very active, so the new and full moons could bring you outstanding news and opportunity. I hope you will try to finish all your talks and agreements before July arrives. Mercury will be retrograde in July, a time to reflect on how various situations in your life have been going and whether you’d like to make course corrections. Additionally, July will bring two eclipses, and eclipses are known to shake us out of compliancy and make us sit up and take notice of certain conditions we didn’t know about or had put aside for another day. July will bring cross currents that might shuffle your priorities.

In the meantime, while you have a sunny, sweet month ahead, find ways to use it to your advantage.

I will end with my favorite quote, one from Emerson I put under my yearbook picture. It is a quote I live by, and you might be inspired to do the same.

Emerson said, “Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.” I agree!

Be passionate, dear reader, and go after the dream that resides in your heart. The road sometimes is hard and filled with stones, but you can achieve what you set out to do if you keep that spark within you alive. I believe in miracles, because so much of my life seems to have been helped by them.

Best wishes,
