Your Horoscope for Virgo
by Susan MillerSometimes when an eclipse occurs in a certain part of your chart, a person who is close to you is “eclipsed out” of your everyday life. If you and your sweetheart or spouse have not been getting along, an eclipse will create a small incident that crystalizes and explains a situation or relationship by bringing a glare of light and truth to you, providing you with a new perspective and greater understanding. At this point, if you feel your alliance is not working, you will be asked whether you want to work to save your partnership or leave it altogether. Eclipses’ messages tend to be black or white, and they expect the same from you in response.
If your partner means a great deal to you, don’t give up—Uranus will send a sparkling, happy beam to both this full moon and the Sun, which is in your seventh house of committed, serious relationships, to provide you with a positive surprise. You may have a sudden and unexpected breakthrough that helps you repair your bond, perhaps (but not necessarily) through couples therapy or simply by sharing your feelings with each other. Stay optimistic.
If your birthday falls on September 17, plus or minus five days, you will feel the September 17 lunar eclipse quite directly. The same is true if your natal moon is in Virgo or you have Virgo rising at 26 degrees, plus or minus five degrees. If you have a natal planet in Virgo, Taurus, Capricorn, Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces at 26 degrees, plus or minus five degrees, you, too, will feel the full effects of this eclipse as well as any benefits from it. (Fingers crossed—your chances are good!)
September will be a time to refresh and reimagine your life. You will be asked to make a big decision in the coming weeks.
