Your May 2025 Horoscope for Taurus
by Susan MillerAquarius and Leo are fixed signs, and suddenly the new moon and Sun enter in Taurus (also a fixed sign) into the epicenter of the argument between Mars and Pluto. The Sun, under siege, has a direct link to your family and home (including those who are involved with you in your home, such as your contractor, landlord, decorator, architect, nanny, housekeeper, au pair, as some examples). Sometimes this happens, but it does not mean all of life is “off,” only one or two parts.
On May 12, we have a full moon in Scorpio, 22 degrees, and it will bring a partnership/marriage/collaboration question to culmination. This full moon is better and easier to go through than the April 27 new moon, but there is another problem. Scorpio is ruled by both Mars and Pluto, and these are the two planets that have been feuding. While they met in culmination on April 26, because these planets move slowly, they will still be within range, albeit on the fringe. From their opposition of 4 degrees, Pluto will still be at 4 degrees, while Mars will have moved to 11 degrees, which is a 7-degree spread. I will, under certain circumstances like this one, allow as much as 10-degree spread as significant.
The part that also concerns me is that Uranus will conjunct the Sun in Taurus and oppose the full moon directly, and this is another recipe for tension. This time the situation may involve your spouse, a committed business partner, agent, important client, or other person you have a serious, steadfast relationship with. Uranus will bring up something out of the blue, and it will likely rattle you somewhat.
This May 12 full moon could also bring up a concern about your residence, other property you may own, rent, want to sell, or fix up, or your attention may be drawn to a family member. You may also have second thoughts about signing a contract—take your time, and look closely at the fine print. At this full moon you would need to have the assistance of a lawyer because now Mercury will be at odds with powerhouse Pluto. If you were due to travel, you might want to think twice about taking that trip, and delay it for later in the month (a good idea).
The May 26 new moon is so favorable to you, I can’t find adequate words to describe it. Muster the courage to ask for more money or, if self-employed, seek new clients.
