Taurus Horoscope for January 2025

Monthly News from Susan Miller

JANUARY 2025

Dear Reader,

You might be wondering what happened. Some readers won’t care, and say they just want their forecasts, and I understand that. For those who are interested, I will explain.

I am in Los Angeles, writing to you from my hotel room. I flew here to be with my daughter Diana Miller for Christmas, for she has a darling little baby boy, now age 2, and I wanted to see little Oliver open the gifts that Santa Claus brought him. (I sent several boxes of toys, all pre-wrapped with ribbons that we prepared in my office in New York, so it was a “UPS Christmas in a box”).

Your January 2025 Horoscope for Taurus

by Susan Miller

The holidays are often filled with activities, and many people feel they need a vacation from the holiday. This sounds a little humorous, but it’s real, and many people do need a rest. After attending holiday parties, the hustle-bustle of shopping, wrapping and shipping gifts, decorating the house with holiday cheer, reconnecting with family and friends (possibly involving travel), whipping together a beautiful dinner, and possibly needing to return a gift or two—Christmas and Chanukah are holidays with a deadline, and for some, they take up a lot of energy.

You may be among the lucky ones who will be able to fly away to a grand city overseas because you had a lovely new moon on December 30 in Capricorn at 10 degrees that was perfect for heading out of town for some relaxation, fun, and maybe a chance to see a friend. A new moon will affect you for months but will be especially strong at its start. You might have alighted a jet to ring in the New Year in Paris, Tokyo, Rome, Sydney, Dubai, or New York. The world is your oyster, dear Taurus.

Not everyone can travel, of course, but with a lit up ninth house, your mind is craving stimulation. You can start planning for next year—or even for years from now if your children are little and you don’t want or need to travel now. The celebrations are televised all over the world, so watch them and start thinking of where you’d like to be on New Year’s Eve someday.

For now, you need to feed the intellectual side of you, so check out book signings listed in your neighborhood, or join an audio book club so you can take in books while you drive. If you have always wanted to learn a foreign language, pick up a popular app and spend five or ten minutes a day on it, and soon you will be speaking the language. Some Taurus will use this fine new moon to go back to college or graduate school—if that is you, you will do well this semester. If you work in broadcasting or publishing, these areas will be very active and favorable—your services will be in demand.
