SEPTEMBER 2021

Dear Reader:

Circle this date! Saturday, September 18 at 1:00 PM local time until to the end of the day at the Louis Vuitton store in your city—over 400 international stores. That is the time my window in Louis Vuitton will have its half-day. My window’s appearance will help celebrate the 200th anniversary of the birth of Mr. Louis Vuitton with a trunk that I designed. I have been working on this with the Creative Lab in London who was overseeing this project, and we did everything over Zoom and by FedEx. Until now I was sworn to secrecy.

Your Horoscope by Susan Miller

You will love September because it will be so much more social than any of the months you’ve come through so far this year. It’s time to play a little and let go—connect with friends you’ve not seen in ages, and share what you’ve been up to, as well. Friends will tell you that you are very intense and have laser-focus on the project at hand. Even you need a rest at times, however, and when you do, you always come back refreshed.

Your social season will begin on September 6, with the Sun and new moon in your friendship sector, in Virgo, 15 degrees. This new moon is delicious because it will receive a friendly beam from Uranus, the planet of surprises, so you may be touched by a friend’s gesture, or you may make a new friend. If you were considering the idea of attending a convention or seminar by Zoom, this new moon will bring superb options for you to consider. Doing new things by venturing into groups will be beneficial to you.

This trend will also include social media. If you have always gone to one social media platform, such as Instagram because you love photography, try a new one like Clubhouse (all audio, no writing) or Twitter (all ideas). Try something unfamiliar and make new friends, or join a charitable organization and make the world a better place. (Virgo rules service to those who suffer.) Working side-by-side with others and sharing your passion for improving certain matters can be exciting—and deep friendships can form.

This new moon has several planets speaking to each other in a very positive way, off to the side, all on September 6. The first is Venus in Libra, receiving beautiful vibrations from Jupiter in Aquarius. This automatically links your residence (the place of Jupiter) to Venus in your twelfth house, considered a place of planning. You may be getting ready to make several changes to your decor. If so, browse websites and design magazines to create a file or vision board of your ideas. September 6 is Labor Day in America, a popular holiday, so you may have time to do some creative daydreaming.

Also on this same day, Scorpio’s two rulers, Mars and Pluto, will be in perfect sync. Mars is in Virgo as you enter the month, and Pluto will be in Capricorn, producing a sublime “trine” or aspect of great harmony. Mars and Pluto are both your ruling planets (yes, you have two rulers), and when Mars and Pluto are in harmony, life is good for you—that’s happening on September 6. This aspect will link a friend (or group you belong to) to Pluto in your third house of communication and quick, short-distance travel. Watch your friends and contacts—one will go out of his or her way for you.

A powerful friend could also go out of his or her way for you on September 16, when Pluto sends a beam to the Sun. This is an extraordinarily good day for you—it’s a perfect day to go to an influential person to ask for a special favor from that person. Pluto is, after all, your ruling planet, whose job it is to take good care of you.

If your birthday falls on November 7, or you have the natal moon in Scorpio or Scorpio rising at 15 degrees, plus or minus five degrees, this new moon will be great for you—you are about to make a lasting, new friend. If you have a natal planet in Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn, Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces at 15 degrees, plus or minus five degrees, that planet will work hard for you this month and bring you luck.

Uranus is sending sparkling vibrations to this new moon, so one or more surprises from a friend are in store. Meanwhile, Venus will move into Scorpio for the first time this year, from September 10 to October 7.

Venus will move into Scorpio (September 10 to October 7), putting the icing on your cake. Venus will make your charms visible and irresistible, so if you are single, dress your best because Cupid will be watching out for you, with his fleet of little cherubs with their tiny bows and arrows.

You will love the romantic full moon on September 20 in Pisces at 28 degrees, lighting your fifth house of true love. If the new moon was about platonic friendship, this full moon is all about emotional, poetic, lyrical love. You might meet someone new within five days of this full moon, or you may hear a confession of love. The fifth house is also the house of pregnancy and birth, so you may find that you are pregnant, and getting ready to have a baby. This will be a joyous moment of the year, for you only get one full moon a year in this part of your chart.

It is also possible that within five days of September 20, plus or minus, you will go to a lavish party, populated by many creative people. If you do get an invite, this party would be heavenly. Wear your mask and go.

Creativity and artistic expression will fall under the domain of your fifth house too, so you may be finishing up a major project you worked hard on and has turned out to be quite beautiful.

Neptune will conjoin the moon, a dreamy, enchanting influence. Practical Pluto will be in an ideal position to support the full moon and Neptune, and he will also be able to support the Sun from your third house of communication. Pluto is tied to money and negotiation, so you may be getting a new project and negotiating the crew and timetable to get the job done.

No matter what happens on or near September 20, it is sure to be exciting and touch your heart. September 20 is a Monday, but you will feel this full moon as it grows to fullness over the weekend, September 18-19, too.

If your birthday falls on November 19, plus or minus five days, this full moon is for you. It will directly reach out to the degrees of your Sun, so certainly, you should notice its effect. If you have Scorpio rising or the natal moon in Scorpio at 28 degrees, you will benefit as well. One other way you could have an exciting outcome is if you have a natal planet in Scorpio, Pisces, Cancer, Taurus, Virgo, or Capricorn, plus or minus five degrees. This full moon will be gorgeous for all Scorpios. No matter what your chart holds—wait and see!

You have so much going for you! Venus will move into Scorpio, from September 10 to October 7. This is the first time in a year you’ve had Venus’ attention—Venus’ job is to help you enjoy love, and her specialty is to make your natural magnetism and charm more visible.

Early in the month, on the day Venus works with Jupiter (the same day as the new moon) on September 6, spend a bit of money on yourself. Pick up some new clothes for the upcoming season, and look into ways to improve your looks while you have Venus in Scorpio. If you have already had Botox or fillers, this could be the time to go back to see your dermatologist or to see your hairdresser or barber. Venus focuses on the face, so when you choose to make improvements, your face is the part of you that benefits most. (I will admit, Venus also puts an emphasis on your entire body, suggesting you could improve its overall tone and look.) September 6 would also be the ideal day for a first date or to celebrate love you’ve already found.

There is only one day you must avoid, September 23, when Uranus will oppose Venus and nothing will go right—not love or beauty, and this day will be no fun. It’s a day to do something else, but do not focus on shopping or socializing. It would certainly not be the day to have a first date. The universe plays tricks on us occasionally, and this day could be one of those times.

If you have any important decisions to make or a contract to sign, do so early in the month. There is a good reason—Mercury will be retrograde from September 26 to October 18.

Enjoy every moment of this month, because it truly is centered on having fun and enjoying love, children, and creativity, and in early September, the warmth of friendship. It is a rare month, just made for you.

SUMMARY

You are an intense, hard worker, and your method is to approach your assignments in a smart and savvy way. When you are enmeshed in a project, the world drops away, and you focus intently on all that needs to be done. This is your secret sauce—it is what makes you successful. Even you need fun, however, and the universe agrees, making September a standout month for bewitching romance, exchanging sentiments of love, and feeling the warmth of friendship, too.

This gorgeous trend begins with the new moon, September 6, in Virgo, beautifully lighting your eleventh house of friendship. You may be invited to a party, and you could discover something quite exceptional, unusual, and magical at this social event that will take place within the week or ten days that follow this new moon’s arrival. With Uranus in such a supportive trine position, you are sure to be excited and happy to be invited. If it’s not a party, you may go to a wedding or charity benefit. If you don’t get invited to anything, consider inviting some friends over to your house, for your prospects for fun in a social setting over this weekend will be made in heaven.

Mars is one of your rulers, and Pluto is the other. Over this new moon, Mars and Pluto will be in perfect sync. With Mars stimulating your eleventh house of friendship, hopes, and wishes, and Pluto currently in your third house of quick, short-distance travel, you may need to drive under 200 miles to get to the special event. As an aside, you do well whenever your two rulers, Mars and Pluto, are harmonious—something that does not happen that often. In early September, you will see how happy you feel and how easily things will click into place.

Keep in mind to do all your important actions early in this month because from September 26 to October 18, Mercury will be retrograde, and you do not want to tangle with that aspect. Mercury, when in a weak, resting position in retrograde, will cause mix-ups and delays as you won’t have access to Mercury’s best powers. It’s not the time to buy a new laptop, smartphone, car, or any other major electronic item, for Mercury rules the spark in those items and the gears and moving parts in all machines. Buy what you need in the first half of the month, and wait until a few days after October 18 to resume shopping for high-priced items. (You can buy clothing during the retrograde, but be sure to keep the receipts.) It is never a good idea to sign a contract when Mercury is out of phase.

Now let’s return to the discussion of your social life, for as you go along this month, things will only get better and more exciting. The full moon will occur on September 20 in your fifth house of true love. This is a rare event, for you only get one full moon a year in your most romantic sector.

In a month when it appears you will be mixing and mingling a lot, you may be invited to another dream of a party on or near this date (within two days prior, or five days after, September 20). Neptune, the planet of unconditional love, will be conjunct the full moon giving this full moon the possibility of being unforgettable. If you are not invited to a party, you may decide to travel with your one-and-only to a place near the sea, for the moon will be in watery Pisces.

Just as exciting about this silvery full moon, Venus will have moved into Scorpio (September 10 to October 7), putting the icing on your cake. Venus will make your charms irresistible, so if you are single, dress your best because Cupid will be watching out for you, with his fleet of little cherubs with their tiny bows and arrows.
