Meanwhile, Mars in Leo was opposing Pluto in Aquarius (180 degrees away), putting a great deal of emphasis on your home, other property you might own, rent, or want to sell or buy, or on a family member. You have had to keep your eye on your career too, and you’ve been juggling both with concentration. It has been a balancing act for months, and you perhaps began to wonder if this was going to be your life from now on. No, things are going to get much better. These two fierce planets had their last stand on April 26 and will start to orbit slowly away from each other, and they won’t return to their argument. It’s over.
However, that little new moon in Taurus unknowingly entered in the exact center of the food fight between Mars in Leo and Pluto in Aquarius. This means that while Mars and Pluto carried on their own personal conflict, Mars turned to the new moon and Sun, orbiting shoulder-to-shoulder in a Taurus conjunction, and began fighting with those celestial bodies as well.
At the same time, Pluto in Aquarius continued his personal grief with Mars while also turning his anger toward the little new moon and Sun, starting a separate fight. What a mess! Leo, Aquarius, and Taurus are all fixed signs that are not inclined to compromise. This created a kind of deadlock that was hard to resolve.
The gorgeous, nearly flawless new moon in Gemini on May 26 is a bridge to a new, brighter life, and I call it the official start of 2025.
