Monthly News from Susan Miller
I am so happy to tell you that I’ll be speaking in Dallas, Texas, on Saturday, February 17, for the NCGR-DFW—Astrological Society of North Texas.
First let’s talk about the forecast I wrote for February. (I will give you the details about Dallas where I will be in person and with availability for access on the Internet below.)
If you have already taken a peek at February’s forecast, you already know that the month will challenge us to think on our feet and make rapid-fire decisions on the spot. Uranus will come knocking and bring his bag of unpredictable surprises when he challenges the new moon in Aquarius on February 9.
Your February Horoscope for Scorpio
As you begin February, the pace of life might seem similar to your routine in January. Mars, your ruler, will still be in Capricorn, so you will be free to follow your own agenda without fear something will cause you to go off course. Mars is highly productive in Capricorn, for the ancient astrologers called this placement of Mars to be “exalted.” This means Capricorn is the best sign for Mars to express its focused, high-level energy.
In the first week of February, you can pursue your priorities—you may negotiate a deal, sign important papers, travel, or make plans without the need to factor in other people’s wishes. One very special day when you can find common ground fairly easily will be February 7, when Venus receives a lovely electric beam from Uranus. Any negotiations happening then should go as smoothly as cutting butter.
Mars will remain in your third house and Capricorn, a great place for you, until February 13. Venus is also in your third house, which rules activities in the realm of communication, and she will remain there until February 16. It’s rare to see Venus and Mars, the cosmic lovers, moving together because they have different orbits. When together, they bring sparkle and happy experiences, so you should like that time, especially their first week with each other.
You may suddenly notice that the winds of change are blowing through your window once the new moon arrives in Aquarius, 21 degrees, on February 9. This new moon will come with a crowd of planets—the Sun, Mercury, and your other ruler Pluto. Aquarius is a fixed sign like yours, so you will be challenged to bend and adapt to the news this new moon brings.
