Uranus, one of the titans of the solar system, is moving into Gemini on July 7, to stay until November 7, as a preview of what is to come more permanently in the years ahead. Uranus will return to Gemini next year on April 25, 2026, to remain there until May 22, 2033, a period of seven years.
Uranus is the planet of surprise and unanticipated developments and will move into your partnership sector, which rules marriage and all serious business contractual relationships, such as when you engage a lawyer, accountant, publicity director, or other such expert. Usually, the professional will ask you to sign a contract and include the term of the relationship (i.e., the length of time you will work together).
Uranus will bring unusual events to your partnerships. At times you may be tempted to be impulsive and rush into a union, but it would be better to go slowly. Your sweetheart may suddenly act out of character or do something that you would never expect. To deal with this trend that will come up in future months, do your due diligence—check out the person you would like to align with. Uranus works both ways—at times your partner will thrill you in ways you could have not anticipated. It is a volatile planet that requires care. However, this can all work out well, and you may fall in love with a very forward thinking person who is non-traditional and has a brilliant mind. Here is an example.
My father was born with Uranus in his seventh house of marriage in his natal chart. He married later in life (age 40) to my mother, 11 years his junior. (Uranus often brings a younger partner in marriage or business.) He was from Italian heritage, she was from German heritage, but both were born in America. Uranus often brings a liking of a partner with a very different background from the person who has this aspect.
The seventh house described my father’s marriage partner—my mother. My mother was way ahead of her time. An impulse to marry is often the case with Uranus, but my mother didn’t want to wed early—she was 19 when she met my father, and although they dated exclusively, she kept saying no to marriage. They married when she was 29.
