Your Horoscope for Sagittarius
by Susan MillerJune is a month that’s brimming with possibilities. I wrote in detail about how last month’s new moon on May 26 would be the demarcation line between the past and the future. I called May 26 the official start to 2025.
For months, going back as far as November 25 (near your birthday time), we’ve had a plethora of “personal planets” (Mars, Mercury, and Venus) in retrograde. Those are the little planets that orbit closest to Earth. When they are retrograde, we feel their effects quite strongly, for we need those little planets to help projects and relationships move forward. However, when a planet retrogrades, it withholds some of its powers, and we feel it. You may have been puzzled about why just about everything was taking so long to achieve.
One planet after another, with almost no space in between, each folded into retrograde like a row of dominos. As an astrologer who has been studying the planets for years, I haven’t ever seen such a long period of retrogrades in a straight line with no room, no oasis, to allow any of us to come up for air. This forced us all to analyze the past and do our best to either make course corrections, or if a situation didn’t go well, to make sure it would not happen again. Here the universe was speaking clearly, telling us that this was not a time to look forward.
Finally, the trio of planets were all direct by April 12, but then we had to wait for them to regain the strength that they had previous to their retrograde. (Astrologers can see this mathematically.) That took us to May 16. We wanted to start being productive again, but that was not possible just yet. We always need a bright and sunny new moon to take her master key and open the floodgates of opportunity so they can flow to you.
