A Note from Susan Miller

September 2020

Dear Reader:

I finally can reveal the secret I have been harboring for months!

I have a beautiful newly designed app to replace my present app, still with the same trademarked name, “Daily Horoscope Astrology Zone + More by Susan Miller®”. In a way the title is a misnomer, because my app comes chock full of information, some of which I will tell you about here. I am thrilled to finally show you the new design on the Apple App Store (http://apple.co/2gcVDnn)

My app will appear in the Google Play Store. They have it and approved it, so it should appear this week or next week. We believe it will be the same link, with the new app replacing the former one here: (http://bit.ly/2y7pHaT)

Your Horoscope by Susan Miller

This could easily be a turning-point month for you, proving to you that something you’ve been doing that you are passionate about has been right all along. September is a kind of oasis from all the stress you have been feeling, for it will bring some extraordinary support to make the road ahead easier and more enjoyable.

The month starts off with a vital full moon in Pisces, 10 degrees, that will bring something of great importance to culmination. It could be quite a celebratory moment in terms of a project or relationship coming to fruition. If you are single, you may meet someone new, and if you are attached, you may well see your relationship move to a new level of closeness. You may give or receive a confession of love or, even more exciting, get engaged or married. In the first week. That timing would be heavenly.

If you are hoping for a baby, with a full moon in fertile Pisces, you may unexpectedly conceive or actually give birth. The moon rules your fifth house of love, conception, and birth. You may, alternatively, finish a large creative project, with much fanfare and praise given to you.

I love that Uranus, the planet of surprise, is at 10 degrees Taurus and in exact trine position (bringing divine harmony and reward) to the Sun and in sextile (bringing opportunity) to the full moon. Uranus will bring a thrilling surprise, and with Uranus, I can never tell you what that might be because Uranus always brings something you’d never expect. You will love this surprise that comes, though, and it seems to arrive as an email, text, or a phone call rather than in person.

If you write or edit or give speeches for a living, the news might involve a new or finished assignment. If it is finished, the praise will come now. Uranus is tied to the digital world, so the job you are either finishing or have just been awarded seems to be in a new realm, such as an app, TV show, or podcast to appear on a smart phone or tablet. A kind friend or sibling may be instrumental in the luck you have at this full moon in the first week in September.

Uranus is in your third house of short, quick travel, and Uranus tends to bring up opportunities on the fly, so you may also get a surprise invitation to visit a friend or close relative at their country house for the coming weekend. (In the US, September 5-7 is the Labor Day weekend, a favorite for families to flee town.) If you have no plans, you may get a last minute offer that will be too good to pass up.

Uranus and the eleventh house are linked by this full moon, so from September 1 to September 5, a charity benefit, humanitarian activity, or other program you are involved with that aids those who need help may happen, with plenty of applause for you. It always feels good to make a strong contribution in improve others.

It is alternatively possible you will reach accord on an important contract or deal that you have been negotiating. As long as you’ve shown it to your lawyer (which is always wise), sign as quickly as you can, as the first week of September is so glorious for you.

It does not matter what field you direct your energies—creative thinking is there. It could be fashion, art, design, music, literature, mathematics, law—original thinking can be applied anywhere to anything, and that is the magic of the universe.

Jupiter will be in the wings and, from your solar eleventh house of hopes and wishes, will send sweet vibrations to Neptune. This is a major plus, because Neptune, the planet of imagination and creativity, and Jupiter are both your rulers. Jupiter was your ancient ruler before Neptune was discovered in 1946. Modern astrologers look at both when forecasting for you, for whenever Jupiter and Neptune are together in aspect, something that is not very commonplace because they are slow-moving planets, you do exceptionally well.

Let me say that again—having both of your rulers (Jupiter and Neptune) working together is really good. Jupiter is the planet that brings good fortune—its ties to financial gain are legendary. Indeed, another quality of Jupiter is that he amplifies everything he touches—Jupiter is the planet of expansion. Neptune is known to promote flowering, artistic expression done with enormous originality. This year, Jupiter, as the great expander, is enlarging your creative thinking and offering possibilities of financial gain from your originality. This is the environment in which you, dear Pisces, are operating. It does not matter what field you direct your energies—creative thinking is there. It could be fashion, art, design, music, literature, mathematics, law—original thinking can be applied anywhere to anything, and that is the magic of the universe.

If you were to be experimental and work on a big idea or a major creative effort, now is the time. Jupiter and Neptune will be close in September and in perfect aspect by October 12, next month, but they will start to move apart in November, and they’ll be too far apart by December 2020, not to be close again until March 2022 (to reach a perfect conjunction aspect on April 12, 2022). As you see, this month is an important time for you to work hard on your creative an artistic ideas.

Now, getting back to this month, put a big circle around September 9, one of the best days of the month, when good-fortune Jupiter will be contacted by the mighty Sun. This is one of the very best days of the month to form an agreement with another person.

The theme of agreements will grow even bigger by the new moon of September 17 in Virgo, your opposite sign (that is, found six signs away from yours on the horoscope wheel). This new moon will encourage the formation of a partnership in love, such as for an engagement or marriage, or in business, such as when you sign with a new agent, lawyer, accountant, wedding planner, designer, contractor—anyone who will help you in a one-to-one way. This is a good time to talk, but not a good time to actually make the final agreement, whether in person, verbally, or in writing. Hold off for some weeks. You can talk, explore, and negotiate, but don’t sign yet. Here is why.

Mars is now in Aries, a very strong place for Mars to be (Mars governs Aries). Mars has lately been raising your expenses, so if you have been writing larger-than-usual checks since June 27, the day Mars entered your second house of your personal income, you now know you can blame Mars. You may be spending on your education, your own business, buying a house, renovating one, or having a baby. Big decisions like these cause us all to spend more, but later we feel it all was worthwhile.

Mars is not leaving Aries, your second house of income and spending, anytime soon, for he is set to stay until January 6, 2021. This is an unusually long time for Mars to stay in any one house, for his usual stay is six weeks, not six months. If you have no idea yet what you may be spending on in the coming months, you might want to hold back and be conservative in your spending until you have the lay of the land.

Here is the problematic part: Mars is set to go retrograde from September 9 to November 3. This happens every two years, and it is about to happen now.

It is never wise to initiate a launch of a new venture or business relationship during Mars retrograde. It’s fine to talk, but not to commit just yet. Mars gives you the energy and motivation to excel by competing skillfully, but when Mars is sleeping in retrograde, we miss him. It’s hard to find the stamina to go the distance in any competition, and things often fall flat.

Ancient astrological texts warned against starting new ventures or introducing new products or services to the market while Mars is out of phase, for you have a high possibility of being met with excessive backtracking and costly redo’s, delays, and unexpected roadblocks.

I say this fully aware most companies introduce new products to the market in the later months of the year in anticipation of the holiday gift-giving season at year’s end. Even so, wait until late November to launch, any time after November 14 for best results. November 14 happens to be a sweet new moon in Scorpio, so it will be helpful to you, dear Pisces.

Is it okay to start a new romantic relationship during Mars retrograde? Alas, no, because Mars rules the chemistry—the spark—between lovers, and with Mars retrograde, that first blaze disappears soon after the initial attraction. Later, you may wonder, what was I thinking? Mars will go direct on November 13, so I say wait.

There is another wrinkle in this picture I am presenting that I need to tell you about to convince you not to start anything new in October or November. Little, mischievous Mercury, Mars’ little brother, who is a curious little copycat and always getting into trouble, wouldn’t you know it, is about to go retrograde too, right in the middle of Mars retrograde, from October 13 to November 3.

If Mars retrograde were not enough to make us all feel life is moving so slowly that we feel like we are watching maple sap drip from a tree into a bucket, Mercury’s concurrent retrograde will certainly do it.

If you need any new electronic items—a new computer, smart phone, headphones, air conditioner, new dishwasher, vacuum cleaner—get it now, or wait until early December to buy it. I always want you to leave a space of as many days as possible between a retrograde and actions that you take. Mercury rules electronics, and right now, Mars in Aries has a link to all new technological products, the reason I would like you to shop early in September, immediately, to avoid Mars’ retrograde as well as Mercury’s retrograde next month.

All of this indicates that the economy of the world will slow down in coming months. Additionally, I anticipate a second wave of the virus in October and November. Jupiter and Pluto have been working together to spread the coronavirus since they first met April 4.

Jupiter and Pluto meet every 13 years. Usually that is cause for celebration, but this year, Jupiter was a little drunk when having dinner with Pluto and, happy to see his old friend, when asked to help Pluto spread the virus, being the planet expert at expanding anything he touches, Jupiter said to Pluto, sure, I would be happy to help you. (Jupiter, what were you thinking?)

I anticipated 2020 to be a year of huge financial deals, but with Uranus, the planet of unexpected developments, back in Taurus for the first time in 84 years, astrologers knew money markets would change in ways we could not anticipate. Most of us figured that bitcoin and encrypted currencies would become big, and I think that still is a possibility, but instead, Uranus brought a financial collapse due to the coronavirus, the likes of which none of us even thought possible. We did see big financial deals, but those were the unprecedented government stimulus checks that went out in the trillions of dollars.

Meanwhile, Jupiter and Pluto were due to meet two more times. A few months ago, Pluto went retrograde on April 25, and Jupiter went retrograde on May 14. When they met over June 29-30 for their second conjunction, I was not sure if the weak retrograde would cause only a light reaction. No, it caused havoc in the southern part of the United States, especially in Florida, Texas, Arizona, and up through California. Governments worldwide were asking businesses and colleges to open their doors, only to see severe outbreaks, bringing on a reverse decision—close down to get a grip on this.

Jupiter and Pluto will soon awaken from their retrogrades, rested and stronger than before. Jupiter goes direct on September 12, Pluto will go direct October 4, and Jupiter and Pluto will meet in their last conjunction on November 12. We always feel the oncoming conjunction of two big planets like Jupiter and Pluto a month ahead, so I expect outbreaks to start in October and run a little over the date of the November 12 conjunction into early December.

After that meeting of Jupiter and Pluto on November 12, I need them to be at least eight degrees apart before seeing relief from the virus. I see that by Christmas this year. These two planets will move much farther apart by January 12, 2021 (not to meet again until February 2033), so I think by then we might have a workable treatment to vastly reduce the severity of the coronavirus.

Where will the outbreaks occur? That’s up to you. If you are careful, and your community is careful, it won’t be in your city. This virus is on a mission to find as many people as possible to infect, so your job is to make sure it stays away from you and your family. We might have to be careful during the first half of 2021, but even so, it will not feel like 2020. It will be better.

This is all a long way of saying, take the retrograde of Mars and Mercury seriously, from September 9 to November 13, and avoid launching new ventures and relationships until November 14 at the very earliest.

As the month ends, you’ll be coming close to the full moon in Aries on October 1, when you seem to have a payment due. You might also be anticipating a payment that is due to you, so money certainly will be on your mind. Mars will always take the lead with a full moon in Aries. The good news is that the very tightest aspect at this October 1 full moon will involve a lovely interplay between Mars and Venus, linking your house of work-a-day projects and your income. Be optimistic, dear Pisces—a project is likely to come up to add to your cash flow. Believe and work toward generating interest in your established products and services, ones you started well before Mars retrograde September 9. You are sure to get interest, and that will make you smile.

Please Note: On October 1, 2020, there is a full moon in Aries 9º, not Aquarius 9º. We apologize for this error in our 2020 calendar.

September opens with an important full moon, for it will fall in Pisces. Something of enormous importance to you is coming to culmination within the days of September 1 to September 5. (Alternatively, it may have come at the very end of last month, August 28-31.) You are fortunate because this will be a divine new moon, one of the best of 2020.

One of the best features of the September 1 full moon is the glittering vibration that surprise-a-minute planet Uranus will send to both the full moon and Sun. You are poised to get exciting news out of the blue, and most likely it will arrive as an email, text message, or notes from your adoring followers on social media. If you work in communications, the surprise may relate to a sudden invitation to appear on TV or a popular podcast, or to write or produce an important assignment. Additionally, you may take a quick, short road trip for fun and romance during the following weekend, September 5-6 (and possibly September 7). This would come thanks to an unexpected, last minute invitation from a friend or relative, such as your sister, brother, or cousin.

Jupiter, your ancient ruler, will beam shimmering vibrations to the Sun, indicating you have a partner, in love or in business, who cares about your future and will work hard now to help you succeed. Jupiter is in your eleventh house of hopes and wishes, so whether your desire is spiritual, emotional, financial, or material, your partner(s) will help you reach the results you hope to see.

Additionally, Jupiter will send a beam to the full moon adding to the opportunity to enjoy romance, fun, and a feeling of celebration. That beam from Jupiter will grow to an exact aspect on September 9, another special day to put a star on, however, you will see how much your partner cares about your welfare as early as September 1.

Concern about money is going on in the background, and it seems to have to do with money someone owes you and has promised you, but has not delivered. Or it may be that you owe money on a loan or taxes (both ruled by Pluto, a culprit here), and you feel stress because you can’t quite find the funds to pay. You did not expect this situation, as you did nothing to bring it on. You may have to find contingency funds, possibly through a bank loan or a family member. This is a temporary situation, so don’t be too tense. All the pieces you are putting into place now will pay off big time in 2021, especially from mid-May through July 2021

Although Pluto is playing a part, it is Mars that is mainly causing this situation by being in the wrong place in your chart at the wrong time. Mars will not leave this position until January 6, 2021, months from now. Typically, any house of the horoscope Mars visits lasts for only six weeks, not six months, but due to a long retrograde of Mars from September 9 to November 13, this situation might drag on. You may need to be ready for tight cash flow for a little while. You may be in the process of a big lifestyle change (such as moving to a new house, going back to college, or having a baby). Those periods always cause expenses to rise. If you have no idea why you would be writing more checks, be conservative in your spending until you find out.

You might see a good, temporary resolution to this impasse by the full moon in Aries on October 1 or in the days that approach that full moon at September’s end. Mars will take the lead at this full moon, and Venus will be in Leo and in superb angle to Mars in Aries. This will ease the circumstances and help you find a happy resolve.

The new moon of September 17 will be in Virgo, opening up an opportunity to join forces with another in love or business. You may be drawing up plans to wed, to sign a business partner, or to change to a new lawyer or accountant. Or you may sign a wedding planner, decorator, agent, manager, or other expert. It’s a good time to talk, but if possible, put off making a final, serious commitment to this person until after November 13 when Mars turns direct. I like November 14 for you to make your serious commitment or to get engaged.

On top of Mars’ impending retrograde from September 9 to November 13, his little brother Mercury, who is known to kick up antics, will go retrograde October 13 to November 3, right in the middle of Mars’ retrograde. Yikes. Life will slow down, and everyone will be in the same boat. Be patient. I feel we may see a severe second wave of the virus in October through early December, so keep up your guard. Once we get to Christmas or even better by January 12, I feel the scientific community will have a treatment for the virus that will lessen the severity of it. There is light at the end of this tunnel, dear Pisces.

Timing is everything in life, and if you can wait, you will be acting at the most favorable time for your long-range future.
