Your Horoscope by Susan Miller
I anticipated 2020 to be a year of huge financial deals, but with Uranus, the planet of unexpected developments, back in Taurus for the first time in 84 years, astrologers knew money markets would change in ways we could not anticipate. Most of us figured that bitcoin and encrypted currencies would become big, and I think that still is a possibility, but instead, Uranus brought a financial collapse due to the coronavirus, the likes of which none of us even thought possible. We did see big financial deals, but those were the unprecedented government stimulus checks that went out in the trillions of dollars.
Meanwhile, Jupiter and Pluto were due to meet two more times. A few months ago, Pluto went retrograde on April 25, and Jupiter went retrograde on May 14. When they met over June 29-30 for their second conjunction, I was not sure if the weak retrograde would cause only a light reaction. No, it caused havoc in the southern part of the United States, especially in Florida, Texas, Arizona, and up through California. Governments worldwide were asking businesses and colleges to open their doors, only to see severe outbreaks, bringing on a reverse decision—close down to get a grip on this.
Jupiter and Pluto will soon awaken from their retrogrades, rested and stronger than before. Jupiter goes direct on September 12, Pluto will go direct October 4, and Jupiter and Pluto will meet in their last conjunction on November 12. We always feel the oncoming conjunction of two big planets like Jupiter and Pluto a month ahead, so I expect outbreaks to start in October and run a little over the date of the November 12 conjunction into early December.
