Your Horoscope by Susan Miller
Here is the problematic part: Mars is set to go retrograde from September 9 to November 3. This happens every two years, and it is about to happen now.
It is never wise to initiate a launch of a new venture or business relationship during Mars retrograde. It’s fine to talk, but not to commit just yet. Mars gives you the energy and motivation to excel by competing skillfully, but when Mars is sleeping in retrograde, we miss him. It’s hard to find the stamina to go the distance in any competition, and things often fall flat.
Ancient astrological texts warned against starting new ventures or introducing new products or services to the market while Mars is out of phase, for you have a high possibility of being met with excessive backtracking and costly redo’s, delays, and unexpected roadblocks.
I say this fully aware most companies introduce new products to the market in the later months of the year in anticipation of the holiday gift-giving season at year’s end. Even so, wait until late November to launch, any time after November 14 for best results. November 14 happens to be a sweet new moon in Scorpio, so it will be helpful to you, dear Pisces.
Is it okay to start a new romantic relationship during Mars retrograde? Alas, no, because Mars rules the chemistry—the spark—between lovers, and with Mars retrograde, that first blaze disappears soon after the initial attraction. Later, you may wonder, what was I thinking? Mars will go direct on November 13, so I say wait.
There is another wrinkle in this picture I am presenting that I need to tell you about to convince you not to start anything new in October or November. Little, mischievous Mercury, Mars’ little brother, who is a curious little copycat and always getting into trouble, wouldn’t you know it, is about to go retrograde too, right in the middle of Mars retrograde, from October 13 to November 3.
