A Note from Susan Miller
Do you believe in miracles? I do, and I found out that I am not the only one. Albert Einstein once said. “There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.” Albert Einstein said he chose the latter. My own life has been one of high contrasts, with very deep lows (especially in regard to my life threating birth defect and the many surgeries it took to get me well as a teenager), but I also have had the highest highs to celebrate. The contrast has made me grateful for every day I live—that was never a guarantee. I had to learn to walk again, and it took years.
Your Horoscope by Susan Miller
You will love this month, for you have magnificent possibilities for getting ahead in the most important parts of life—home and family, career and love, and romance. You also will have a new way to showcase your creativity that will allow you to grow in sophistication. If you are decisive, you can accomplish much. Let’s get started because I can’t wait to tell you of all the opportunities that are coming up for you.
The month starts off with a new moon in Gemini, 13 degrees, falling in your fourth house of home and family on June 3. You probably have a list of things you’d like to do to improve your living quarters, and this month you will be able to make some of your biggest progress of the year. If you need to find a new place to live, begin to browse the day the that new moon appears on June 3 and in the ten glorious days that will follow. You have a fantastic opportunity to find your dream space.
A new moon opens a portal of ten days, so don’t think of the new moon as just one day, but rather a string of consecutive days you can use to find your perfect living situation. The actions you take in the ten days following any new moon will have the power to change you for the next year—or longer. Alternatively, you can use this new moon for making beautiful design choices if renovating or for shopping for a new piece of furniture, a bright new rug, comfy mattress, or new linens as some example.
If you would rather, you can use this new moon to spend quality time with your family. Surround yourself with children, help your mother by setting up auto-pay for her checking account, or accompany your father to the doctor. Or, have a fun day where you, your parents, and children go to a Broadway play or have a beautiful dinner.
When my mother was alive, I used to love to go over to Little Mom’s house (as I used to call her) and just sit on her couch near her and write my articles while we both (kind of) watched TV.
She was tiny, the reason I affectionately called her Little Mom. One day when I was there, I saw her dragging a small step ladder into the kitchen. She was so tiny that the contraption seemed nearly as big as she was. I asked her if she needed help? At 90, she was going to put a new bulb in the ceiling light! The ceiling was 8 feet high. Oh, my gosh! I immediately called her doorman to please send up the handyman. Another time I was at her apartment, I came in and was alarmed because I noticed a faint smell of gas. The pilot light to her stove had gone out, and although the situation was not dangerous yet, it worried me. I wondered, what would happen if I didn’t regularly come over? That’s when my sister and I decided she needed a companion to live in the guest room. We found Annie, and Annie looked after Mom in the sweetest way until Mom passed in 2012.
Your attention will turn to your career at the glorious full moon of June 17…. This tender full moon will fall in your solar tenth house of honors, awards, and achievements and have you celebrating a major professional victory. In many ways, this full moon will fulfill an important promise of success that 2019 holds for you, that this year your name may be in lights.
My point in telling you this is that you don’t have to spend money to enjoy your time with your family member—just be together. Some of the best memories I have of Little Mom is being at her house and not doing anything much but just eating cherries or watching TV. Being there allows you to be helpful in a gentle way while you observe what is going on. You learn more about your child, your mother or father, or your sister, not by having an expensive dinner together, but by spending time at the house, folding laundry, sweeping up, making the beds—that’s when you really find out how your beloved family member is doing.
The problem with the new moon of June 3 is that it will receive a difficult beam from Neptune. If you are buying property, be sure to hire the best appraiser you can find, for the seller might not tell you the entire story about what you will need to fix in the house or apartment. You may have costly repairs later that were never pointed out. That’s technically against the law, but redressing that situation can take years and be too expensive to battle in court. It’s easier to be careful at the onset. Neptune in hard angle to the Sun and new moon can bring deception, either through the sin of omission or a straight out coverup. Additionally, be sure to ask about any possible water damage in the house or in the vicinity, and test the water, for Neptune in a hard angle can give water-related problems. If you are careful, you should find this new moon very helpful.
Your attention will turn to your career at the glorious full moon June 17 in Sagittarius, 26 degrees. This tender full moon will fall in your solar tenth house of honors, awards, and achievements and have you celebrating a major professional victory. Your creativity may be applauded now too, and thrill you to know others understand your work and want to honor you. In many ways, this full moon will fulfill an important promise of success that holds for you, that this year your name may be in lights.
Uranus will be within ten significant degrees of an out-of-sign trine to this full moon of June 17—a trine is the most heavenly aspect possible—and it looks like you will be thrilled and surprised by what happens within five days of this date. Full moons bring a finish, so something is coming to culmination in your career—you may get a prestigious new position, or if you are self-employed, a new client. Or, you may receive enviable publicity, finish up a deal and sign papers, or conclude a major project to great critical acclaim.
Work with a sense of purpose this month, for in July you won’t be as productive. Mercury will be retrograde all month, and you will be subject to many delays and miscommunications. VIPs will be hard to reach or be indecisive, so it would be best to sign contracts in June, not in July. Mercury will retrograde from July 7 to July 31, yet you will start to feel the slowdown that Mercury retrograde brings two weeks prior to the official date Mercury turns on July 7. Have your most important agreements and deals sewn up in the first three weeks of June.
There is another reason to move talks along in June. Next month, two eclipses are due—on July 2 and July 16. These eclipses will be in signs that blend well with your Pisces sign, in Cancer and Capricorn respectively. Even so, most eclipses require an adjustment. They force us to pay attention to things that we have not noticed or had put off discussing, Next month, you may be preoccupied with topics you don’t expect. I don’t want you to make any major decisions until the eclipses have spoken, for they might change your timetable and priorities. I will tell you more next month when we will study each eclipse in detail. The lunar full moon eclipse of July 16 will advance a discussion that may have come up for you at the last eclipse in Capricorn, January 5.

Now let’s turn to another topic, the collaboration of Neptune and Saturn going on in the heavens, two planets with very different natures. The support of these two planes to each other is one of the features of 2019 and may have more direct benefit to you, for Neptune is the planet that rules Pisces. The aspect is a 60-degree sextile, indicating an opportunity (as opposed to an outright gift of a circumstance that would land in your lap from a trine, 120 degrees.) With sextiles, you have to do something to take advantage of the opportunity. Saturn takes 29 years to revolve around the Sun, and Neptune takes 168 years to cover the same ground, so you see why it is hard for these two planets to have any kind of conversation. The last time Saturn cooperated and supported Neptune in the same way was 1995-1996, and the last time they made a perfect trine was in 2012 and 2013. You tend to do really well in the years when Saturn works in sync with Neptune.
This year, Saturn first began receiving signals (the first sextile) from Neptune on January 31, and now they will communicate again in perfect mathematical aspect on June 18. These two planets will speak to each other one more time on November 8 of this year, and after that, they will tip their hats to one another, say goodbye, and will not converse again until 2031 (and not be in perfect trine harmony until 2036).
You see how special this is—the union of the most practical and realistic planet (Saturn) with the planet of dreams, ideas, the arts, and creativity (Neptune). Most Pisces are highly creative, and this year seems to indicate that someone near—a mentor or a friend who is either older or who seems mature for his or her age—will show you how to increase your income and stabilize your business so that you can continue to create and still manage to live comfortably.
Saturn and Neptune do not have to make an exact hit to be outstandingly useful to you. These two planets will be within orb (close enough to be significant) through the year until the end of November. Your creativity and artistic expression can now find sponsorship, and you can find a way to build a sturdy foundation to your work so that you can build a bigger name for yourself in the future. The key will come from a friend or mentor.
In case you are wondering if June will provide time for fun, the answer is a resounding yes. It’s not just about work and home life, for Mars is now in your fifth house of creativity and fun, and this action planet will stay there until July 1. (Mars first went into this house and highly compatible Cancer on May 15.) If you are single, you can devote yourself to fun and love, for this month, you certainly do have love on your mind. If you are attached, you will have more time for each other, and the topic of having a baby may come up. If you want to get pregnant, June would be a divine month to get started.
Your most romantic, fun day of the month will be Thursday, June 13, when Neptune will signal Mars in highly compatible water-sign Cancer. This night will have magic, mystery, and enchantment. If your birthday falls on March 8, plus or minus two days, you will have a double dip of happiness on this glamorous day.
A few days later, you may run into a disagreement with a friend who voices an unsolicited opinion about the person you are dating due to Mars’ opposition to Pluto on June 19. It seems the friend (most likely a different person from the helpful friend discussed above about Saturn and Neptune) will be bossy, and you might want to think about what she or he says (in case there is any truth in it), but the words seems to be upsetting. Remember, it’s your life and your opinion that counts most.
The month will draw to a close on a sweet note. On June 27, the Sun and Uranus will be in ideal harmony. You may travel a short distance spontaneously, perhaps to enjoy a long weekend off. There is another way Uranus could surprise you—you might hear about a new assignment out of the blue that allows for plenty of creativity and which will pay well, too. On this remarkable evening, Cupid will be out and about with his little fleet of angels, so if you are single, this could be a fateful night when you meet your future mate. If you are attached, lavish your partner with attention, and your partner will be delighted and respond in kind. It is due to be a sparkling evening you should remember a long time.
You have been very focused on your career, as you should be, for Jupiter, the great planet of happiness, expansion, and profit has been setting your name in lights ever since this mighty planet entered Sagittarius last November 8, 2018. In a once-in-12-year visit to this part of your chart, Jupiter will continue to raise your industry profile until December 2, 2019. As exciting as your career has become (and you may not realize yet how well you are doing but will soon find out), it seems you may have neglected your home life. Your family may be complaining they never see you, or your house may be showing signs of wear and is in need of an upgrade.
No matter what home or family-related goal is on your list, the new moon in Gemini on June 3 will help you make progress. You may need to move or work on an upgrade to your space. Or, you may feel you’ve not seen enough of your parents, sibling or cousin, or your children and will want to reconnect. Show them how much you love them and how much they mean to you. You will be able to turn your attention to home in the first half, so make the most of this gentle, breezy trend.
Neptune will be in hard angle to the new moon, so if you are buying property, be sure to hire an appraiser to thoroughly uncover any repairs that would be necessary but that the seller may not point out.
Your career is about to bring big news at the full moon on June 17, plus or minus four days. It will fall in Sagittarius and light your solar tenth house of fame and honors. Jupiter, the happiness planet, will orbit close to the full moon, and that’s significant—whatever development you see at this time in your career is sure to make you proud. You may get a promotion, an award, or news that work completed recently (or over the course of your life) is about to be celebrated. If you get publicity, it will make you feel honored and excited.
As much as you might suspect that this month will be all about work and family, there will be time for fun and love, too. Mars, planet of energy, will be in highly compatible Cancer all through June, making this one of your potentially favorite romantic months of the year. One evening when you will be at your most glamourous and most charismatic will be June 13, when Mars will reach out to your ruling planet, Neptune, adding a dollop of glamour and mystery to your love life that will be hard to match on other days of June.
A friend may become domineering and difficult on June 19 when Mars and Pluto form a 180-degree opposition. Don’t lock horns if your ongoing friendship has always meant a lot to you—it would be hard for either side to claim victory. However, if this friend has given you pause many times in the past, you may finally throw in the towel and cut the cord. It’s up to you—you always have that option.
You may assume you’ll be staying home at month’s end, but when on June 27, Uranus, in your house of short-distance travel, beams the Sun (by then) in your fifth house of relaxation, leisure time, fun, and love, you may be hastily packing your bags for an exciting trip. You may not go far, but it surely will be exciting to be even a short distance away
If you are creative and need time in solitude to work, this trip could offer you that too, especially if you are involved in the communication arts. You might you writing books, a column, or apps or are involved in advertising, public relations, or social media. You may be a writer, editor, translator, researcher, proofreader, producer, or work in any related job in the publishing, broadcasting, or the digital world. While you have the completive edge, give your work all you have to give.
You are golden this month, and next month you will see more changes and opportunities emerge.
